1. Introduction and acceptance
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ROAS EdTech website, learning platform, simulator, dashboards, and any related products, content, and services (together, the "Platform").
By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
ROAS stands for Return on Applied Studies — a learning philosophy focused on practical, outcome-oriented performance marketing education.
2. Eligibility and account creation
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a plan. If you are under 18, you may use the Platform only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
When you create an account you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information.
- Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly of any unauthorised access or security issue.
One person = one account. Multiple accounts, shared accounts, or account transfers are not permitted without our written approval.
3. Description of ROAS EdTech services
ROAS EdTech provides a practice-driven learning platform for Performance Marketing. Our core journey is Learn → Practice → Apply → Grow. The Platform may include:
- Learning content, videos, and written resources.
- Campaign simulations with virtual budgets and simulated outcomes.
- Decision-making exercises and business cases.
- Workplace and work-rehearsal simulations.
- Feedback and performance evaluation.
- Portfolio and proof-of-work tools.
- Interview preparation features.
- Certificates where applicable to your plan.
The exact features available to you depend on the plan you are enrolled in.
4. Learning platform and simulation experience
Simulations on the Platform use virtual budgets and simulated outcomes. They are designed for education and practice. No real advertising spend is placed through the Platform's simulator, and the Platform does not grant you access to real Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other third-party advertising accounts unless this is explicitly stated in writing as part of a specific offering.
Simulation outcomes are illustrative and depend on the decisions you make and the scenario engine. They should not be treated as predictions of what will happen on real ad platforms.
5. Free and paid plans
ROAS EdTech offers both free and paid plans. The current published plans at the time of writing are:
- Basic Learning — free entry-level access.
- Practical Learning — paid access to learning and simulator features.
- Applied Learning — paid access including applied projects, portfolio, and additional features.
Plan names, pricing, features, and availability may change from time to time. The plan page on the website is the authoritative source at the time of purchase.
6. Course access being separate where applicable
Access to the ROAS EdTech practice platform and access to full course content (such as live cohorts, extended video courses, or other separate offerings) may be sold separately. Unless a plan explicitly states that a particular course is included, purchasing a plan gives you access to the Platform features of that plan, not to every course that ROAS EdTech or its trainers may offer.
7. Pricing, taxes and payment processing
Prices are shown in the currency of the plan page you purchased from (typically INR or USD). Taxes, if applicable under Indian law or the law of your location, may be added at checkout and will be shown before you confirm payment.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card or bank details. You are responsible for ensuring you have authorisation to use the payment method you provide.
8. Subscription and access duration
Unless the plan page clearly states a recurring subscription, paid plans are currently offered as one-time purchases with access for the duration stated on the plan page (for example, lifetime access to the Platform features of that plan, subject to the Platform continuing to operate).
If we introduce recurring subscriptions in future, the billing cycle, renewal terms, and cancellation rules will be clearly disclosed before you subscribe.
9. Refund and cancellation policy
[REFUND PERIOD — e.g. "7 days from purchase"]
Refunds, where offered, are handled on the basis described at checkout and on the plan page. Once a refund is processed, access to the paid features of that plan will be revoked.
We do not offer refunds:
- After the published refund window has passed.
- If you have substantially consumed the paid content (for example, completed the majority of the modules or projects).
- For change-of-mind requests outside the refund window.
To request a refund or cancellation, write to the contact address in section 23 with your account email, order details, and reason.
10. Account security and user responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential and not sharing it.
- Logging out of shared devices.
- Using a strong, unique password.
- Informing us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to secure your account.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Share, resell, or sublicense your account.
- Download, copy, redistribute, or resell Platform content.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Platform or its data at scale.
- Upload malicious code, spam, or abusive content.
- Impersonate anyone else or misrepresent your affiliation.
- Use automated tools to access the Platform in ways that bypass normal use.
Violation of these rules may lead to suspension or termination of your account without refund.
12. Intellectual property and content ownership
All content on the Platform — including lessons, videos, simulator scenarios, designs, logos, text, and graphics — is owned by or licensed to ROAS EdTech and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use the content for your own learning, for the duration of your plan. This licence does not include the right to redistribute, resell, publicly display, or create derivative works from the content.
13. User-generated content and portfolio submissions
When you submit case studies, portfolio items, forum posts, or other content ("User Content"), you remain the owner of that content. By submitting, you grant ROAS EdTech a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display, and review your User Content as part of delivering the Platform and providing feedback.
You must not submit content that infringes someone else's rights, is defamatory, unlawful, or harmful. You are responsible for the User Content you submit.
14. Simulation limitations and educational disclaimer
Simulations on ROAS EdTech are educational tools. They simplify real-world behaviour to help you learn. Real advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, and others) have features, policies, auction dynamics, and approval processes that are not fully replicated in our simulator.
Results you achieve inside the simulator are not a reliable predictor of results you will achieve on real ad platforms with real budgets.
15. No employment, income or performance guarantee
ROAS EdTech is an educational platform. We do not guarantee:
- Employment, internship, or placement.
- Any specific salary, freelance income, or client acquisition.
- Specific campaign results, ROAS, CPA, or any other marketing metric in real-world work.
- Recognition of any certificate by any government body, employer, or third party.
Your career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your effort, the job market, and individual opportunity.
16. Third-party services and links
The Platform may link to or integrate with third-party services (for example, payment gateways, email providers, analytics tools, and social platforms). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices.
17. Platform availability and maintenance
We aim to keep the Platform available, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. We may take the Platform offline temporarily for maintenance, updates, or incidents beyond our control.
18. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you:
- Breach these Terms.
- Engage in fraud, abuse, or unlawful conduct.
- Fail to pay for a paid plan.
- Remain inactive for a prolonged period (we will give reasonable notice where feasible).
On termination, your licence to use the Platform ends. We may retain your account data as required by law and as described in our Privacy Policy.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- ROAS EdTech, its founders, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
- Our total aggregate liability in connection with the Platform will not exceed the amount you actually paid to us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
20. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ROAS EdTech and its team from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.
21. Changes to services and terms
We may update the Platform, plans, and these Terms from time to time. Material changes to the Terms will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by email or in-platform notice. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept them.
22. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in [CITY, STATE — e.g. Bengaluru, Karnataka], India.
